Tank Storage Facility

Tameco Tankfarm is a management company that operates independently owned tank farms in Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United States. These tank farms are not owned by oil companies in Belgium. Our management team is responsible for overseeing the operations of these tank farms and charging oil companies for the storage and handling of their products. Our tank farms are strategically located both above and below ground, allowing for efficient and successful discharges of products into heavy-duty oil tankers and pipelines. In addition, we have large industrial facilities specifically designed for the storage of oil and petroleum products before they are transported to end users or other storage facilities.

Our farm’s tanks are positioned in various locations where ocean liners carrying products can discharge their cargo while some are technically attached to pipelines in other to draw our supplies through rails or barges and by heavy duty oil tankers. Most of our tank farms have heavy duty oil tankers operating from their grounds and these vehicles transport products to petrol stations or other users.

he products which reach our tank farms are from the refineries and suitable for delivery to customers because our tank farms are modern and comprise various types of tankage, pipelines, and gantries with a greater degree of automation as significant changes in depot operations.

Tameco tank farm operates Tank Storage Facilities in strategic locations such as Antwerp, Rotterdam, Houston, and the Upper Baltic Sea Region of Primorsk Commercial Sea Port. These facilities are capable of simultaneously loading multiple vessel tankers with deadweight ranging from 200 to 500 thousand tons, with a loading capacity of up to 6,500 tons per hour in Primorsk Port and Ust Luga Port. In the port of Rotterdam, we can load multiple vessel tankers with deadweight ranging from 200 to 500 thousand tons, with a loading capacity of up to 4,500 and 6,500 tons per hour.

Considering the global population growth and increasing GDP, there is a rising demand for energy and chemicals worldwide. However, there is an evident geographic imbalance between areas of production and areas of consumption for these resources.

The transportation of oil, gas, and petrochemicals has significantly increased on a global scale. As a result, market dynamics and product distribution have continuously evolved due to various factors such as climate change policies, geopolitical and economic fluctuations, and the emergence of alternative energy sources and cleaner fuels. Consequently, there is now a rising need for efficient storage and handling facilities for bulk liquids and gases at strategic locations along major international maritime trade routes.

In order to identify the most optimal locations for our terminals, it is crucial to adopt a long-term perspective on global geo-economic developments. Additionally, the constantly evolving product flows necessitate a flexible approach and the ability to make quick decisions on a daily basis. Within this dynamic context, our leadership is contingent upon our capacity to excel in three key areas, which form the foundation of our strategy.
